Vecode careers8/18/2023 ![]() ![]() This guide also contains definitions of some key terms, questions and answers about the Public Sector Code, and some suggestions to stimulate discussion in your workplace. The purpose of this discussion guide is to demystify the Public Sector Code, help stimulate thinking and dialogue about how best to apply its values, and provide examples of how the expected behaviours related to those values are demonstrated. They are of benefit, however, only when they do not remain words on a page but become living principles, practised every day both among ourselves in the workplace and in the work we do for Canadians. The Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector (Public Sector Code) describes for public servants at all levels the values and ethical practices that guide direction, decision making and behaviour. Appendix: Crown Corporations, Agents of Parliament and Separate Agencies.Section 7: Activities and Discussion Tools.Section 6: A Guide to Ethical Decision Making.Section 5: Duties and Obligations-Responsibilities and Opportunities.Section 2: The Public Sector Code: Questions and Answers. On the mechanism of North Atlantic decadal variability. Sensitivity of a global oceanic carbon cycle model to the circulation and to the fate of organic matter: preliminary results. Sea-level changes at the LGM from ice-dynamic reconstructions of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets during the glacial cycles. Importance of ice-ocean interactions for the global ocean circulation: a model study. Geoscientific Model Development 3, 603–633. Description of the Earth system model of intermediate complexity LOVECLIM version 1.2. The code of LOVECLIM could be dowloaded here.LOCH is a three-dimensional model of the oceanic carbon cycle developed by Mouchet et al. ![]() Carbon cycle: The terrestrial carbon cycle is simulated by VECODE.It is a three dimensional thermomechanical model which simulates the ice flow, the bedrock evolution and the mass balance at the ice-sheet surface. Ice sheets: ECBILT-CLIO-VECODE has been coupled to Huybrechts (2002)'s model, named AGISM (Antarctica and Greenland Ice-Sheet Model).Based on annual mean values of several climatic variables, the VECODE model computes the evolution of the vegetation cover described as a fractional distribution of desert, tree, and grass in each land grid cell. (1997) has been included in the coupled ECBILT-CLIO model. Vegetation: The terrestrial vegetation module developed by Brovkin et al.Ocean–sea ice: The CLIO model (Goosse and Fichefet, 1999) is made up of a primitive-equation, free-surface ocean general circulation model coupled to a thermodynamic–dynamic sea-ice model. ![]()
